Traditional Fishermens' Smocks

Worn by being pulled over the head, the heavy duty fisherman's smock was traditionally worn as an overgarment. It is very generously cut for wearing loosely as a piece of outerwear, perhaps in place of a jacket or coat.

Today, these smocks are useful wherever a cover-all - with big pockets! - is needed: gardening; painting (whether using a 6 inch bristle or 00 sable!); fishing; sailing; pet grooming; home maintenance; cleaning out the henhouse; spring-cleaning; pegging out the washing; hoovering... the list is almost endless.

Hand-assembled using top-quality materials, these smocks really are as good as it gets!

The paw printPaw-print smocks

These smocks are identical to the 'Sou-westerly' smock described above; they are further enhanced by having a delicate paw-print design woven into the fabric, as illustrated alongside.
