Very, Verdi good progress!

Tosca is a regular at the Southfields Hydrotherapy Centre in Chiswick, London, where she has regular sessions with hydrotherapist Hannah Shooter. Tosca, a daschund who in the photos above is shown wearing her 'Toy' size 4u life jacket, had spinal surgery a year ago.

She's had to learn how to walk again and - thanks to the hydrotherapy under Hannah's watchful and experienced eye - is now doing brilliantly!

And thanks to her 4u life jacket she looks as pretty as a picture too!

My name is Gizzy. I live in Leyland, Lancashire and am a miniature papillon crossed with a miniature schnauzer.

I can also go shopping now as I double as a doggie handbag.

With grateful thanks to Simon and Lynne Nickalls and their nine year old daughter Megan - who loves little Gizzy dearly - for the narrative apparently written by 14 months old Gizzy (shown modelling his 'Toy' size 4u life jacket). That's pretty clever for a dog of any age, but just 14 months! Wow!

Jacques Russell!

Aprile Roland of Palavas-les-Flots in France bought a 'Toy' size 4u life jacket for her Jack Russell terrier Calypso.

In the photos above Aprile's daughter has fun with Calypso in the family's swimming pool.

Life's a beach for Pebbles

In preparation for spending lazy summer days cruising with her parents on their narrow boat, Hayley Hughes of Milton Keynes bought a 'Toy' size 4u life jacket for her cat Pebbles.

Every girl needs a fashion swimsuit!

Milly is shown here modelling her 'Toy' size 4u life jacket. Owner Alma Oakley-Abrahams of Digswell in Hertfordshire reports that Milly, a four-month old Jack Russell terrier, still has some growing to do and that the 'Toy' size, which fits Milly now, will also accommodate that growth.

It's Summer - all year around!

Scarlett from Wokingham is the proud owner of Summer, a five-year old Japanese Chin, shown here modelling her 'Toy' size 4u life jacket just bought for her from the buy1or2.com stand at the Beale Park Boat Show.

Dotty for Dotty

Soraya Rigby, of Leyland in Lancashire, is dotty about Dotty, her 11 year old Jack Russell terrier ("with attitude", according to Soraya), photographed in her 'Toy' size 4u life jacket.

Together with Gemma, a cocker spaniel, and Beaux, a miniature daschund (and fellow crew members Steve, Graham, Paul and Bella), they all enjoyed a week's barging holiday on the 'Cheshire Ring'.

Soraya reports that, happily, none of her three dogs fell in (the badly-misbehaving Gemma was sent home in disgrace with Soraya's daughter after two days of being a "royal pain in the barge" before she had time to) but that anyway the jackets' lifting handles proved invaluable for stepping on and off the barge.

At the Inland Waterways Association's 2008 National Festival and Boat Show in Wolverhampton Michael Nunn of Telford brought Billy, his 12 year old Yorkie, to the buy1or2.com stand where he was fitted with a 'Toy' size 4u life jacket.

Caught in her rollers in the Solent is Jasmine, the eleven month old prize-winning* Yorkie of Jenny Wood who lives in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight, in her 'Toy' size 4u life jacket.

This substantial Yorkie called at the paws-things.com stand at the 2009 Inland Waterways Festival near Nottingham for her new 'Toy' size 4u life jacket.

Peace of the action 

Debbie Chambers of Oundle, near Peterborough, bought a 'Toy' size 4u life jacket for Daisy, her Lhasa Apso.

Debbie was relieved to report that Daisy got through a week's sailing without testing the jacket's buoyancy - and confirmed that it had given all the sailing party great peace of mind.

Cheery Cherry

Barbara Peck of Cotton End in Bedfordshire chose a 'Toy' size 4u life jacket for Cherry, her Jack Russell / Poodle cross (a mix which Barbara thinks makes Cherry a 'Jackapoo'!).

Barbara reports that Cherry was very happy wearing her lifejacket while on a canal boat holiday; (5 adults and Cherry) in excellent September sunshine. The lifejacket wasn't tested for real, but the handle on the back proved very useful in lifting Cherry on and off the boat.

House call

This little shih tzu popped into our stand at the 2010 Bowood House Summer Fair for a 'Toy' size 4u life jacket.
